A device for stopping photons from destroying a quantum mechanical superposition where things are in more than one place at once, as in creating photon-protected superposition for FTL travel/ BTC travel. It would have to stop all kinds of electromagnetic radiation. A thick layer of lead cooled to near absolute zero would do it, at least for a short while. And a short while is enough, because superposition travel is instant.
